Soo...my laptop has officially shit the bed and won't recognize its powercord.  It's probably a loose connection, as HP has designed it's power supply to plug in from the side where it's sure to be jostled whenever you move the stupid computer.  I have no idea when it's going to be fixed, but I think it's safe to say that I will be sparse around these parts and messenger for awhile.  *snffles*
